Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Oreo Balls, a no-bake dessert treat combining crushed Oreo cookies with creamy cream cheese, coated in smooth melted chocolate. Perfect for parties or simple sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale

Base

  • 36 Oreo cookies (1 standard package)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Coating & Decoration

  • 12 oz semisweet or white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreos: Place the Oreos in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese to the Oreo crumbs and mix until fully combined, forming a dough-like mixture.
  3. Form Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze: Freeze the Oreo balls for 20–30 minutes until they are firm enough to dip.
  5. Melt Chocolate: Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
  6. Dip Balls: Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, use a fork to tap off excess coating, then place them back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  7. Decorate: Immediately decorate with sprinkles or crushed Oreos if desired.
  8. Set Chocolate: Refrigerate the coated Oreo balls until the chocolate sets, about 10–15 minutes.
  9. Serve: Serve chilled or at room temperature for best taste.

Notes

  • You can use different Oreo flavors like Golden or Mint for fun variations.
  • Use candy melts or colored chocolate for festive occasions.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
