Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice, for serving
- Peach slices and lemon wheels, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Peaches and Lemon Juice. In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined, ensuring all the peaches are pureed.
- Strain the Mixture. Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, using a spoon or spatula to press through the pulp if desired. This step helps achieve a smoother lemonade by removing peach pulp and any small bits.
- Add Cold Water and Adjust Sweetness. Stir the strained peach-lemon mixture with 4 cups of cold water. Mix well, then taste the lemonade and add more sugar if you prefer it sweeter, stirring until dissolved.
- Chill the Lemonade. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the lemonade to become refreshingly cold.
- Serve and Garnish. Serve the peach lemonade over ice cubes, garnishing with fresh peach slices and lemon wheels if desired, to enhance presentation and flavor.
Notes
- For a pulpier texture, skip straining the blended mixture.
- Adjust sugar quantity to your preferred sweetness level or substitute with honey or agave syrup if desired.
- Use ripe, fragrant peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir before serving as ingredients may settle.
- For a sparkling version, replace cold water with sparkling water just before serving.
